Ranveer Singh began shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' on Tuesday at Film City.
Day One started on a celebratory note — it coincided with costume designer Rimple's (of the Rimple-Harpreet Narula duo) birthday.
A cake was cut on the sets by Rimple with Ranveer being his ebullient self and making merry at the impromtu party.
