At a time when tinseltown is abuzz with rumours of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's impending split, the paparazzi have a funny story to narrate about the actor. He was apparently rehearsing for 'Padmavati' with a female friend in Bandra when the paps got wind of his whereabouts.
To avoid being clicked, the actor didn't get out of the rehearsal venue until the next morning. His chauffeur tried to pull a fast one on the lensmen too.
At 4.30 am, the driver drove off, hoping to put the paps off track, but when he returned later to pick up Ranveer, he found the shutterbugs still waiting there. His 'friend' doesn't want to grab eyeballs and the star finds himself morally bound to protect her identity. Hmmm.
