Justice PD Kode had announced the six-year jail verdict against Sanjay Dutt in 2007 in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case that was heard in the TADA court. The retired judge and the actor will again come together, but in different circumstances.
Kode, who plays a judge in Shailendra Pandey's film, JD, will clash with Dutt in his comeback film, Bhoomi. The films are releasing on the same date &mdash; September 22.
While announcing the sentence, Kode had told Dutt, "You may continue to act in films for 100 years, I have taken only six years of your life." What a coincidence that the two come face-to-face again. This time the audience will deliver the verdict on their respective films.
