On Satyajit Ray's 18th death anniversary, a film society is holding a retrospective of his films.

Officials of the Taj Enlighten Film Society also said that film scholars and academicians will interact with the audience and discuss Satyajit Ray's works. Some of Ray's best works, such as the Apu trilogy (Pather Panchali, Aparajito, Apur Sansar), Charulata, Agantuk, will be screened but there are no plans as of now to showcase Heerak Rajar Deshe and Sonar Kella.
