According to the singer and TV host, these days, the song a singer sings may well be re-dubbed by someone else even before the film is released. <img alt="Shaan" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2012/dec/Shaan.jpg" /> Describing it as a &quot;sudden trend&quot; in Bollywood, Shaan, best known for songs such as &quot;Jabse tere naina&quot; from &quot;Saawariya&quot; and &quot;Chand sifarish&quot; from &quot;Fanaa&quot;, said he cannot be sure any more about his songs till a film is actually released. &quot;Just yesterday I got to know that a song I had sung for a big production house has been re-dubbed; someone else is singing (it),&quot; the singer claimed. &quot;It is tough to say which songs or projects are there until a film releases. Sometimes, we also unknowingly re-dub someone else&#39;s song. So until a film (releases) it is tough to say anything,&quot; contended Shaan, who began his career with ad jingles and re-mixes. Another trend Shaan has noticed is what he calls the return of the &quot;Indian feel&quot; in recent Bollywood numbers. &quot;I feel that the melody and Indian feel are coming back into songs. People are liking them; it&#39;s a good thing,&quot; says the singer who has also given us hummable numbers like &quot;Tanha dil&quot; and &quot;Behti hawa sa tha woh&quot;.

These are not great times for Bollywood's singers or so it seems if Shaan is to be believed.
