Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha along with director Prabhu Deva visited the MiD DAY office yesterday afternoon as part of their upcoming film &#39;R... Pics/ Rane Ashish and Datta Kumbhar Prabhu Deva had a sleepless night, as he was busy with the film&rsquo;s final cut. So over paneer rolls, the trio indulged in some serious talk and some banter. While Prabhu Deva and Shahid did most of the talking, Sona kept busy with her cell phone. <img alt="Shahid Kapoor" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/dec/Shahid-Kapoor_3.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 381px;" /> Shahid Kapoor She broke out in peals of laughter only when someone had sent her a snapshot of hers when she was 13. &ldquo;Is this how you looked?&rdquo; remarked Prabhu Deva while Sona remarked it is the tale of an ugly duckling who transformed while Sasha had lots to say... Prabhu Deva: Shahid loves to give long winding answers to everything. For me, it is a mere two words. When the writers explain the story, they go on rambling I tell them please tell me in a few lines, I will still get it. Shahid: But everything cannot be explained in two words, some questions need long answers. Prabhu Deva: Thank God, you are not a teacher... I really don&rsquo;t know what your students would have done. Shahid: The only time I have been hearing Prabhu Deva talk is during the film&#39;s promotions. On the sets, he is extremely quiet. He works fast and tells the actors exactly what he wants them to do right up to the minute details including what level the eyebrow has to be arched. This is the first time I am working with him, so I am getting to understand why he shoots so fast. It has lot to do with how they function in the South. When he is on the sets, he is well prepared. There is no time wasting, but at the same time there is no pressure on the actors as he knows exactly what he wants. Prabhu Deva: When logic begins, magic ends. I tell them in real life if people call you, how do you react you don&rsquo;t go overboard... you should be normal. Sonakshi: I have worked with him earlier in Rowdy Rathore, so I am familiar with his style of functioning. He was the one who taught me to dance. He tells me that dance as if no one is watching you. I think I dance like a junglee with the hair all over my face. When I see the shot in the monitor, I realise that I am a mess. Most actresses, even when they dance, have their hair in place, but Prabhu Sir tells me that imperfections are okay. Prabhu Deva: I am a choreographer so I have to make actors dance whether he/ she is a dancer or not. But when the actor is a good dancer like Shahid, I give him even more difficult steps. Shahid: He will take the most common step and give it is own twist to make it look unique. Prabhu Deva: That is why the backdrop for a song is also important. For the Sari Ke Fall track we shot in the salt pans in Gujarat. During a song, the focus should be on the actors, but the backdrop has to look stunning too. Shahid: He has this knack of taking the ordinary stuff to make it look extraordinary. In R...Rajkumar I play a mawali and there is lots of hardcore action, I am doing for the first time. Sonakshi : It is also a love story. Prabhu Deva: If you come to think about it all my films are love stories. Shahid: How come you keep repeating Sonakshi in your film? Prabhu Deva: That&rsquo;s because you are already committed to another projects.
