In biopic on Kishore Kumar to be produced by UTV Motion Pictures

It's official. Anurag Basu will direct a biopic on Kishore Kumar starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film is to be produced by UTV Motion Pictures, and not Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision as reported earlier. Apparently, Kishore's wife Leena Chandavarkar had sold the rights to making the film to UTV some time back. Anurag had earlier directed Metro for UTV and the two sides share a good bond. The deal will be finalised next week.
