Mother-daughter duo Dimple Kapadia and Twinkle Khanna (who is married to Akshay Kumar) have been painting for years. 
On some days, the daughter lands up at her mom's (they live a few minutes away) and the maa-beti paint until the wee hours of the morning. "The two usually paint together till 4 am, chatting and painting away. However, Twinkle is busy with the launch of her new collection tomorrow at her store and has stopped going to Dimple's for some time." notes a source.
Dimple's friend reveals that she paints angels with sculpted wings and gilded leaves and uses a lot of iconic and Christian art, and adds, "She gives out her paintings to her friends and family. Twinkle and Rinke have a few of their mother's paintings up on their walls. In fact, Dimple even uses some of her painting ideas for her Far Away Tree candles while Twinkle uses her paintings for wall textures."
In fact, her friends find Dimple's paintings so beautiful that they are urging her to have an exhibition soon." However a source close to the Tum Milo Toh Sahi star says, "She loves painting. For her, it's not just a hobby but a passion. Dimple's a very private person and is happy with her art. Moreover, she has no time for exhibitions."
