Priyanka Chopra Jonas recalled her experience of working with Hrithik Roshan in the popular superhero franchise Krrish

Have you heard? All the learnings!

Priyanka Chopra

Speaking about her experience of working on Hrithik Roshan-starrer Krrish, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared that she learnt crucial “life lessons” during the period. At an ongoing festival, she said of Rakesh Roshan’s directorial venture, “You are sitting for a 12-hour day shift and are doing only four shots. I did not know what that was like, and why that [time] was needed. I remember, I used to sit with Rakesh sir and just watch him and Hrithik talk, or the producers and DOPs talk, and understand what they were doing in those four to five hours. I learned the hard work and the gravity of the crew, and how much it takes for everyone to have that one shot taken.” Speaking of the lessons she learnt while working with Abbas-Mustan on Aitraaz, she said, “Abbas-Mustan taught me how to curb my nerves, and even if I was not convinced with my character’s choices, they made me understand that it is not my decision to make. I am playing a character. Whether good or bad, my job is to play her with conviction.”

Back together

Years after they called it quits, Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl sparked rumours of being in a relationship again after being spotted at a Diwali party. Rumours of a patch-up sparked off after a paparazzi video showed them posing together happily. In the viral clip, Shawl could be seen helping Sen navigate her way. “Officially back together again,” wrote one user, while another commented,  “I wish you marry him. You’ll compliment each other.”

Looking the part

Vicky Kaushal recently revealed that he did not believe he was as good-looking as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw when he was offered the role in filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. At the trailer launch event, he said Gulzar had told him about her desire to make the biopic on Manekshaw during the shooting of their 2018 film, Raazi, also starring Alia Bhatt. “My mother and father are both from Punjab and through them, I had heard a lot about him. But I didn’t know how he looked. So during that conversation, I secretly Googled him and saw his photo. I said, he is very handsome and I will not get this role. But I have to thank Meghna for giving me the role of this handsome person,” he said.

Humari adhoori kahani

Ajay Bahl has released a statement addressing the comments he made about the Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer The Lady Killer being “incomplete”. The filmmaker has now said it was a humorous take on baseless rumours circulating about the film’s status, and that sarcasm can sometimes be misinterpreted. Bahl had previously said that 30 pages out of the 117-page screenplay were never filmed. Now, he claims his film is “complete”, and is one that he is  “immensely proud of”. The movie, which released on November 3 was reportedly made on a budget of R45 crores, but failed to earn even Rs 1 lakh at the box office.

Buffering...

Pankaj Tripathi has left his fans puzzled after he forgot his “big announcement” in the middle of a live interactive session that he had held to make it. During the session, he interacted with his followers, and addressed several questions posed by fans. Subsequently, he ended the live session, and claimed that he had forgotten the crucial update he wanted to share with them. The developments had many inquiring if he was well. “Jaise yaad aayega, main aaunga. Either live bata dunga ya post kar dunga, ‘Yaad aa gaya’,” he said while signing off.

More voices of support

A bevy of stars have lent their support to Rashmika Mandanna after a morphed video of hers did the rounds on social media. The latest to voice his opinion is Vijay Deverakonda, who took to his social media handle to share a post about the decision of the government to crack down on the miscreants. After the government called for the video to be taken down, Deverakonda shared: “Extremely important steps for the future. This shouldn’t happen to anyone. Also an efficient accessible cyber wing for quick crackdowns and punishment will make people more secure (sic).” Apart from the actor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mrunal Thakur and Vishnu Manchu have also spoken up against those who’ve circulated the video.
