A fresh controversy has erupted around Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy, a film inspired by the blackbuck poaching case linked to Salman Khan. Days after the project was unveiled, the actor's legal team reportedly sent a notice seeking to halt its release. Amid the row, producer Amit Jani publicly tore up the notice and claimed he has been receiving threats from Salman Khan's supporters online.
Amit Jani’s video statement
Amit Jani shared a video in which he is seen tearing up the notice. He spoke about how he has been receiving threats from Salman Khan’s followers. “People keep asking me — the media, friends — what response should be given to the notice from Salman Khan. This notice, what should I reply to it? For the past 36 hours, all his fans from Dharavi to Jogeshwari have sent 1,000 messages, including death threats, saying they'll cut my head off if I come to Mumbai.”
