Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut is currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the BJP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency after she was elected with a majority in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. After completing a year in office, the actress has now admitted that she is not fully enjoying her political career. She also went on to add that although she has always stood up for women's rights and women's empowerment, politics was more of a social service, which is not something she had done or was her background.

Kangana Ranaut says she is not enjoying politics

During a recent podcast appearance on Atman in Ravi (AIR), Kangana confessed, "I’m getting a hang of it. I wouldn’t say that I am enjoying it (politics). It’s a very different kind of work, more like social service. This hasn’t been my background. I’ve never thought of serving people."
