Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma says he prefers making thrillers rather than candyfloss NRI stories.

"Some people have a fascination for making family dramas and I find making thrillers much exciting. And what's wrong with it?...any day it's better than making NRI stories," Varma, whose last release was the horror thriller "Agyaat", said.
