Producer-director Nikhil Advani is in a state of heightened anxiety. Almost in a state of panic.
In need
His production Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai set partly in the film industry, needs top-notch stars to make guest appearances. So far, Nikhil and his director Milap Zaveri have not been able to get enough A-Listers to come on-board. Ruslaan Mumtaz plays a superstar in Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai.
Nikhil has sent out SMSes to all his actors but there has been only silence from the other end. He confirms, "Every A-lister actor (male and female) who has been in my filmsu00a0-- Deepika, Vidya, John, Govinda, Salman, Priyanka, Akshye Khanna, Ayesha Takiau00a0-- everyone has been invited. Only Priyanka has messaged back to say she's on. I'm waiting for the others to hop on."
Adds Nikhil, "I really need to get this in place right away. Our release is less than a month away. And we have edited and readied the entire film except the first reel where the star guest appearances come in."
Will the stars take those precious hours off to bail him out?
