Tia, what are your plans for Diwali 2022?
This year, Diwali is special as we have rebuilt our house. There will be a big puja, along with a few functions with family in Lucknow.

Do you believe in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali?
I’ve always been the one giving gifts to family and friends. I love to pamper my loved ones. But, I also get a Diwali gift every year from my mom, which is something in gold. That’s become like a tradition between us (smiles).

Do you burst firecrackers during the festival or you believe in sound and smoke pollution free Diwali?
NO! I do not like loud firecrackers, specially bombs and stuff. I have two pets at home as well. So, we mostly celebrate with food, sweets and music. I only burn one ‘phuljhari’, since without it, Diwali feels incomplete.

What does Diwali mean to you?
For me, Diwali or any festival is mainly family coming together, celebrating and spending time with loved ones. It also means eating good food and thoroughly enjoying the celebrations. In short, happiness.

What new / exciting stuff have you planned for Diwali this year?
Well… as I said earlier, since we have moved onto a new place, Diwali is definitely going to be grand! Party and celebrations and everything that is happiness will be there.

What’s your message to our readers for Diwali?
I would like to wish everyone a very happy Diwali. Spend time with family and your loved ones, eat as many sweets as you like, you can hit the gym later. (smiles). In short… HAVE FUN TO THE FULLEST!
