Aneet Padda made her feature film debut with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara. While the actress isn’t new to showbiz, having appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s Big Girls Don’t Cry and several ad films, the kind of fame that Saiyaara has brought her seems unfamiliar. The film, which also stars Ahaan Panday, is a box office hit, with audiences falling in love with its lead pair. With newfound fame, Aneet and Ahaan have certainly come under the paparazzi radar. Aneet got her first real taste of that attention when she stepped out for a salon session in the city on Wednesday.

During her casual outing, Aneet was captured by paparazzi and was visibly surprised by the flashing cameras surrounding her. The sudden media presence also attracted onlookers who gathered to catch a glimpse of the rising star. Dressed casually in blue denim jeans and a matching shirt, Aneet had her face covered with a mask and was carefully guided through the growing crowd.
However, in the chaos, a fan approached her for a selfie. Aneet, who is just 22 years old, politely declined the request. The moment was captured on video and quickly circulated on social media. While some users called her refusal arrogant, others defended her, saying she is still adjusting to the fame and attention that comes with overnight stardom.

Why Aneet and Ahaan Didn’t Promote Saiyaara
Ahead of the film’s release, both Aneet and Ahaan were kept away from the media and public events. Addressing this decision, director Mohit Suri explained the reasoning behind it.
In an interview with Just Too Filmy, Suri shared, “It was an idea that came about collectively. My producer Akshaye Widhani and, of course, Aditya Chopra, who has mentored us through this process, suggested that until the two actors have something meaningful to talk about, the conversation would only revolve around things like, ‘Who is the prankster on set?’ or ‘How is it working with Mohit Suri?’ That’s all redundant, and I don’t think anyone really cares about that.”
Talking about Saiyaara, the film tells the story of two passionate lovers whose relationship takes a tragic turn. Ahead of the release, Aneet and Ahaan were spotted visiting the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings. Ahaan also received support from his family, including sister Ananya Panday and uncle Chunky Panday, who shared sweet childhood photos of him to mark the occasion.
