Shah Rukh Khan looked absolutely charming at the Filmfare Awards. Videos of Kajol and Shah Rukh bringing nostalgia to the stage with their performances of their hits went viral, and now clips of SRK being his gentlemanly self are doing the rounds. One video shows SRK and Karan Johar performing a tribute to the Gujarati people, while another shows SRK assisting Laapata Ladies performers Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goel up the steps during the award ceremony.

The award show was held in Ahmedabad, and SRK and Karan performed to the "GUJJU" tune from their film Kal Ho Naa Ho as part of a comic performance with background dancers dressed in traditional clothing.

Meanwhile, SRK and Rajkummar Rao danced to the latter's blockbuster song "Aayi Nai" from his film Stree 2. Shah Rukh also praised Rajkummar's performance in Srikanth, for which he received the Critics' Award for Best Actor Male. Shah Rukh appreciated Rajkummar's acting, and the latter said, "I love you, Shah Rukh sir. You appreciating me is a greater honour than the award itself."

Shah Rukh Khan helps Nitanshi Goel from falling

Another video from the show shows SRK assisting actors Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goel as they climb the steps in their lavish dresses. SRK even prevented Nitanshi from nearly falling and held her train as she moved across the stage. Netizens called Shah Rukh Khan, 'gentleman' in the comments and praised his quick action to help the young actress.

Ravi Kishan, who also received an award, complimented Shah Rukh Khan and recounted an incident in which the superstar worked despite a high temperature. He said, “I did the Army with him. He is an inspiration. He once had a high fever of 104. This is how a person becomes King Khan. He shot the film in high fever and by seeing him, we got to know how he became Shah Rukh Khan. Aap kitne sundar insaan hai, gentleman hai.”

On the work front for Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is now working on his film The King, which co-stars his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone. It's directed by Siddharth Anand. Deepika Padukone had recently shared a post talking about shooting with SRK and his life advices.
