As he talks about the actor and his film Wanted, his remakes of South films and luck!

Boney Kapoor was one of the biggest producers in B-Town, but all that changed a few years ago. The producer is hoping his luck will change back with Wanted, his big Salman Khan starrer.u00a0 I have known the man since I was a kid, so he's "Boney uncle" to me.

If I have to use one word to describe him, I'd day resilient.u00a0 He will outlast his bad times because he owns up to his mistakes and reinvents himself. It's been three years since he's had a release. These days, he is known more as Anil Kapoor's brother and Sridevi's husband but Boney is too secure to mind it.



It is also a mark of a man who will bounce back and surprise you, just when you are getting ready to write him off. Read on for excerpts from a chat-a-thon with the man who is as endearing as his name.

You've never made a full-on action film before. Why now?
Wanted is not a full-on action film. Would you call a James Bond film a full-on action film? Wanted has a good mix of romance, comedy, music, songs and obviously, action. The film caters to all kinds of audiences but I won't call it a commercial potboiler. It is much more than that.
