Ashutosh is just one director on actor's wishlist of intelligent directors

Akshay Kumar may have had a successful run at the box-office, but he has never worked with the big directors. He now wants to change that.

It is believed that he has asked Ashutosh Gowariker to come up with a script for him.

A source in the industry reveals, "Last week, the actor called Ashu to his house and had a long chat with him.

The actor told the Oscar nominated director that he has been a big fan of his work and that he wants to work with him."

Gowariker has worked with SRK, Aamir and Hrithik Roshan and has given them movies to be proud of, and Akki wants that for himself.

It is believed that the actor is now tired of doing mindless comedies for which he has to ask people to leave their brains behind at home."

Even after repeated calls and messages, Ashutosh remained unavailable for comment.
