Varun is seen enjoying tea and biscuits amid rainy weather with his co-star Ahan, giving fans a glimpse of their off-screen bond during the shoot. This was from their shoot at NDA in Pune. He was even seen poking fun at Suniel Shetty’s son.
The camaraderie on the sets of Border 2 is surely winning our hearts. As Diljit wrapped up his shoot schedule, he went around offering sweets to everyone on set and sharing warm hug with everyone. A playful Varun made sure everyone had laddoos despite refusal.
Diljit Dosanjh dismissed rumours of his exit from Border 2 and shared fun reel with his signature voice-over where he revealed having a fun-filled day on sets. In some snippets, he is seen laughing his heart out with co-stars Varun, Ahan and Mona Singh.

Varun wrapped up the shooting of the Amritsar schedule of Border 2 few days back. He was seen cutting a cake amid the presence of Medha Rana, Bhushan Kumar and other crew of the film. They even visited Golden Temple to seek blessings.
Varun Dhawan began filming of Border 2 at Babina cantonment in Jhansi where he shot with some real-life army officers. The army officers are deployed on sets so that the film's portrayal of the Indian Armed Forces is accurate.
Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty embarked on a crazy adventure during their Pune schedule. The actors were seen taking a ride in metro as they got lost and were unable to reach their hotel. In a video shared, Dhawan was heard saying, “Right now we are in Pune and we are pretty lost, so Ahan and I are getting on this Metro and trying to get to our hotel.”

Ahan shared a candid on-set photo featuring himself alongside co-star Varun Dhawan.He went on to describe the kind of warmth and humility Varun brought to the set and called him his brother.
Border 2 is a sequel to 1997 Border film by JP Dutta which went on to become a landmark war film in Indian cinema. It starred Suniel Shetty, Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna and Jackie Shroff. The sequel has Deol with Ahan, Varun and Diljit. The film will release on 22 January 2026.
Border 2 marks the return of Sunny Deol to the most loved character of Major Kuldip Singh. His first look poster is out and an angry Sunny held a bazooka as he aimed it at the enemies. The film is set against the backdrop of the 1972 India – Pakistan War, and takes off from the point where Border (1997) ended.
