My dog Alaska and my cat Puma don't get along because they both look for a spot on my bed and snarl at each other.

The actress says it's important for kids to grow up with animals. "They learn the cyle of life and death, they become responsible and learn to take care with kindness and compassion."

Speaking about animals that she has rescued the actress said, "I've rescued a baby bat, owls and soon it became like Dr Dolittle's house."
