Love triangles have long been one of the favourite genres of Bollywood mainstream cinema and even the OTT space. As Cocktail 2 releases, we have another love triangle saga joining the list. Dostana (2008)

Devdas (2002)
Devdas (Shah Rukh Khan) is unable to marry Paro (Aishwarya Rai), his childhood sweetheart. He descends into severe alcoholism and turns to Chandramukhi (Madhuri Dixit), a reformed courtesan who falls for him.

Dil To Pagal Hai (1997)
This musical drama starring Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, explores the romantic equation between a passionate director and his two love interests.

Gehraiyaan (2022)
A woman stuck in a stagnant relationship, Alisha (Deepika Padukone), begins a passionate, secret affair with Zain (Siddhant Chaturvedi), who is Tia's (Ananya Panday) fiance.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali (Kajol) are best friends, but a new girl, Tina (Rani Mukerji), enters the college. Rahul falls in love with Tina, leaving Anjali heartbroken.

Student of the Year (2012)
A wealthy heartthrob Rohan (Varun Dhawan), and his childhood sweetheart Shanaya (Alia Bhatt) are dating. But Shanaya starts flirting with an ambitious scholarship student and Rohan's friend, Abhimanyu (Sidharth Malhotra), to make him jealous.

Silsila (1981)
This is a complex love triangle around Amit (Amitabh Bachchan), his wife Shobha (Jaya Bachchan), and his former lover Chandni (Rekha).

Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)
The film revolves around Naina (Preity Zinta), who falls in love with her charismatic but terminally ill neighbour Aman (Shah Rukh Khan). However, Aman plays matchmaker to set Naina up with her best friend, Rohit (Saif Ali Khan).
