However, one birthday message grabbed widespread attention was of techno music artist and entrepreneur Deepesh Sharma.
He shared several pictures from Shamita’s birthday celebration on social media. It was his love-filled caption that sparked dating rumours.
The picture was accompanied by a warm caption that read, “Happy Birthday to my forever laughter riot. To the one who knows all my stories & still sticks around. Love you, my Shamster."
Talking about Deepesh, he is a prominent name in Mumbai’s nightlife and electronic music scene.
A techno music artist by profession, he is also an entrepreneur and co-founder of popular nightlife destinations Milagro and The Cocktail Room.
Known for his strong connections within Bollywood, Deepesh often shares pictures with actor Sanjay Dutt, reflecting their long-standing friendship.
Quashing the rumours, Shamita wrote on her Instagram account on Wednesday (February 4), "Single and peaceful. Stop being prudes misconstruing genuine friendships. Such utter nonsense."
Shamita was earlier dating actor Raqesh Bapat. The two met and fell in love on Bigg Boss OTT but parted ways in July 2022.
On July 26, 2022, Shamita confirmed their breakup on social media through her Instagram stories. She wrote, "I think it's important to make this clear. Raqesh Bapat and I are no longer together and have not been for a while."
Before Raqesh, Shamita was linked-up with actors like Aftab Shivdasani, Uday Chopra and cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
