Onam 2026: Wamiqa Gabbi to Malavika Mohanan, how celebs celebrated the festival

Onam, one of Kerala’s most cherished festivals, was marked with vibrant traditions, floral pookalams, festive feasts and traditional attire by celebrities. From Malaika Arora and Wamiqa Gabbi to Malavika Mohanan and Adah Sharma, the actresses added their own charm to the festival with festive looks and heartfelt wishes.

Prithviraj Sukumaran's wife shared a heartwarming pic as couple celebrated Onam at ther residence.

Rapper Raftaar celebrated the festive spirit of Onam with his wife Manraj Jawanda, family and close friends. The celebrations were attended by celebrities including Lakshmi Manchu, Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin.

Wamiqa Gabbi looked elegant in a traditional Kasavu saree paired with a bottle-green blouse with gold detailing. She completed her Onam look with temple jewellery and gajra.

Adah Sharma looks effortlessly graceful in a pastel pink ensemble as she enjoys a festive Sadya meal, beautifully capturing the joy and warmth of Onam celebrations.

Malavika Mohanan embraces the festive spirit of Onam in a traditional white Kasavu saree accented with classic gold borders and bright red blouse.

Priyamani exudes regal warmth in a classic off-white and gold Kasavu saree paired with a vibrant brocade red blouse featuring intricate floral zari patterns. Styled with multi-layered gold necklaces, statement earrings, and a neat half-up hairdo draped over one shoulder, her look is classically festive.

Janani brings a vibrant, modern edge to classic festive fashion in a traditional cream-and-gold Kasavu saree paired with a deep magenta sleeveless blouse.

Richa Chadha visited the Maha Vishnu temple in Kasargod, Kerala with her daughter Zuneyra for Onam Celebrations and also unveiled the life size elephant that she gifted the temple.

Actress Parvathy Thiruvothu welcomed this year’s Onam with an especially intimate celebration, hosting her parents at her home and making the day all about family.

Malaika Arora was also seen going to the house of her mother, Joyce Arora, to celebrate the festival. She wore an ethnic white outfit.

Mithila Palkar gives traditional Onam attire a quirky twist in an off-white saree featuring Kathakali motifs, a gold border and red striped pallu. She was also seen enjoying a festive Sadya feast.

Onam was extra special for Abhay Verma as he celebrated the festival with friends over a traditional Sadya feast.
