Apart from her professional endeavours, Soni Razdan has been in news for her marriage with Mahesh Bhatt. To note, she and Mahesh fell in love in the sets on Saaransh while he was already married to Kiran Bhatt.
The couple married secretly in 1986 after Bhatt converted to Islam, which allowed him to marry a second time without divorcing his first wife, Kiran.
The couple had welcomed a daughter, Shaheen Bhatt in 1988. In 1993, Soni and Mahesh had become proud parents of another baby girl, whom they have named Alia Bhatt.
With Kiran Bhatt, earlier known as Lorraine Bright he shares two kids- Pooja and Rahul Bhatt. While relationships were strained initially, Soni now shared a cordial bond with Rahul and Pooja.
In an interview with the Stardust magazine, Pooja Bhatt had revealed how she used to hate Soni, for snatching away her father. And it was her mom, Lorraine, who had changed her hatred towards Soni.
Soni and Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia Bhatt got married to superstar Ranbir Kapoor in 2022. The actress shedded tear on her daughters big day.
