Udaybir Sandhu hails from Punjab and was born in a Punjabi family. Although not much is known about his family.
He later moved to Delhi, where he completed his graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).
Udaybir has a strong athletic background, who initially played football before switching to hockey.
He was inspired by the popularity of hockey in his home state, which led him to quit football and pursue hockey.
Before entering films, Udaybir built a successful modelling career in India and South Africa, where he even received the call for his first audition.
Later, he went on to appear in films like Amar Singh Chamkila (2024), Ikk Kudi (2025), and Blindsided (2025).
His breakthrough, however, came with his role as Pinda in Ranveer Singh's blockbuster Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
He played a 20-year-old boy and later a 40-year-old man in Dhurandhar 2, for which he gained 15 kgs and later lost the same weight to look the part.
