Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur were first introduced through mutual friends in 2015. The later worked togetehr in Broken But Beautiful in 2018, where their bond deepened.
However, Vikrant had confessed that it was never a love at first sight. He recalled how a trip to Karjat made him realise his love for her.
During a podcast, Vikrant recalled how Sheetal told him, "The moment I saw you, I saw the father of my kids." The moment totally stuck with him.
The couple lived together before marriage—a decision encouraged by Vikrant’s mother to help them understand each other better.
Their union was later followed by traditional wedding ceremony and it was totally a dreamy affair.
The couple later announced pregnancy in 2023, and were blessed with baby boy Vardaan in 2024.
Vikrant revealed that during a low phase in his career, after Lootera, when he was struggling to land more films, Sheetal supported him financially and emotionally.
He said, “She supported me for a good four, five months—almost six months, actually—when I was trying my luck in films."
Talking about Vikrant, the course of his career changed after the massive success of 12th Fail. His portrayal of IAS officer catapulted him to stardom.
