Aaliyah Qureishi was born on October 19, although her birth year is not known. She was born and raised in Mumbai.

Her father Saif Qureishi is an entrepreneur, while her mother Rauzat Qureishi is a tung accupuncture doctor.

She completed her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and later pursued higher education at University of South California in Los Angeles.

Apart from acting, Aaliyah is also a musician, who once revealed she wrote her first song when she was in fifth grade.

She goes by the stage name Jhalli and even performs at musical concerts across the country.

Aaliyah made her acting debut with the English-language Indian comedy drama series, Eternally Confused and Eager for Love in 2022.

In 2023, she made her big Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan in the film Jawan, where she played Janvi.

She later portrayed the character of Sahira in the 2025 Netflix film Naadaniyan starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

As part of the promotions for Jawan, Aaliyah was even featured on Dubai's Burj Khalifa.

Aaliyah sparked dating rumours with Vijay Varma after they two were spotted stepping out after a dinner date in Mumbai in April this year.

The two have once again ignited rumours after they were seen leaving a cafe in Bandra on Friday, May 1, in the same car.
