Vedika was born on October 14, 1995, into a Christian family in Mumbai. Her father, Johnny Pinto, worked as a Hindi film business associate, while her mother, Monia Saigal Pinto, is a banker.
Vedika Pinto had a deep passion for dancing from a young age. She actively participated in several national and international dance competitions during her school years and earned several certifications.
Apart from being an art enthusiast, Vedika is also a topper and she has high education qualification. She went to the Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and graduated from the University of London.
Vedika dabbled in showbiz in 2019 and rose to fame with Ritviz’s viral music video Liggi girl which made her an overnight sensation.
The song turned into a nationwide chartbuster, shattering multiple records and emerging as one of the most-streamed Indian indie tracks, with nearly 200 million views on YouTube.
That same quality — a rare mix of freshness and relatability — has since defined her journey on screen. She made her Bollywood debut with Operation Romeo (2022), where her portrayal of Neha struck a chord.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film marked her big screen debut alongside Sharad Kelkar, Bhumika Chawla and Sidhant Gupta. It was based on the subject of moral policing.
In the same year, she featured in music video Bas Tumse Pyaar Ho, which was sung by Armaan Malik and even featured him. The romantic track struck a chord with audiences.

The film also marks the debut of Aaishvary Thackeray and is set in the hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh from the early 2000s.
