Hailing from the town of Bhilai, Anurag worked with his father`s theatre group that would perform across the country. The director even recalled his early days in the film industry trying to meet filmmakers and other artists. Sharing fun anecdotes from his life, he also revealed that people still confuse him with director Anurag Kashyap and their messages often get interchanged.
