Bharat Ratna and the `Nightingale of India` Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6 2022 due to multiple organ failure. She was 92 when she breathed her last. In a career spanning over seven decades, Lata Mangeshkar, the `Nightingale of India`, crooned over 30,000 songs in multiple languages. Lata Mangeshkar won several awards and honours, including the Bharat Ratna, India`s highest civilian award.
