Bharat Ratna and the 'Nightingale of India' Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6 2022 due to multiple organ failure. She was 92 when she breathed her last. In a career spanning over seven decades, Lata Mangeshkar, the 'Nightingale of India', crooned over 30,000 songs in multiple languages. Lata Mangeshkar won several awards and honours, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
