Angelina Jolie is 'sad and lonely' after splitting from estranged husband Brad Pitt, and the actress' children are reportedly worried about her. Her son, Maddox, has been trying to cheer her up.
"The past few months have taken a toll [on Jolie], and she's been feeling extremely sad and lonely," a source told an international publication, adding, "The kids are worried about her - Maddox particularly. He has assumed the role of the man of the house, now that Brad is no longer there. Maddox is constantly trying to get his mom to cheer up and live a healthy and happy life."

Meanwhile, 41-year-old Jolie has reportedly made an offer to purchase a &pound;19 million mansion situated two miles away from the Allied (2016) star's Los Feliz home.
"Angie is interested in moving closer, so it will be easier for the kids to see Brad. She currently lives in Malibu, which is a long commute for the kids," the source added.
