Rachel Weisz does cameo in 'The Simpsons'

British-born actress Rachel Weisz has appeared on the new episode of "The Simpsons", playing the role of a quirky and slightly deranged family therapist.

Weisz plays a therapist who specialises in children and pets and is hired by the Simpson family to treat Bart and his dog, Santa's Little Helper, dailymail.co.uk reports.

The 40-year-old actress, who rose to fame alongside Brandon Frazer in "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns", recently broke up with her partner of nine years, director Darren Aronofsky.
