With a budget of $4 million, the center will provide children with classrooms, recreation and library books. Children will participate in music, sports, arts and more. Martin hopes that this will "make a difference for the children and young people of Loiza... to give them support and the tools they need to guarantee them a better future". This is not the first time Ricky has given back to the community. u00a0 In 2000, he established the Ricky Martin Foundation, which provides aid to children and their families in the event of natural disasters and also works to prevent child trafficking.
