Rapper Azealia Banks recently levelled accusations of sexual harassment against MMA fighter Conor McGregor, sharing screenshots of his chat wherein he sent her unsolicited nudes

Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor has once again found himself caught in a controversy after being accused of sending unsolicited nudes to rapper Azealia Banks. Additionally, he also allegedly threatened her not to speak out about the same. Banks shared the screenshots of her chats with McGregor in the comments of one of her posts on X, wherein she accused the wrestler of violating her consent. The MMA fighter had remained silent on the allegations until Monday, when he shared his first post on social media.

It all started after Banks took to X (formerly Twitter) on July 14 to drop his chats. She shared uncensored screenshots of her chat with the MMA fighter, where he shared a couple of photos showing McGregor nude and engaged in explicit posing. As described by Banks, one of the images allegedly showed the fighter "lifting weights," referring to a dumbbell tied to his genitals.

With the chats, the rapper publicly accused McGregor of sending her unsolicited nude photos, which sparked a social media firestorm. Along with the pictures, Banks wrote, “Like how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer d**k then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland? ” asking McGregor to “use some f*****g sunscreen.”
Meanwhile, McGregor shared a post on X where he simply wrote, "Happy birthday to me!" The reaction from McGregor was not what was expected, leaving fans confused. While some assumed it to be a sarcastic remark amid Banks' allegations, others noted that it was McGregor focusing on celebrating his birthday which falls on the same day, July 14.
Other sexual allegations against McGregor
Notably, McGregor is not new to allegations of sexual harassment. Earlier, he was directed to pay $2,33,326 in fines to a woman who had accused him of rape in Ireland. Additionally, he also faces charges in an ongoing case in the United States for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at Kaseya Centre in Miami, Florida.
According to reports, McGregor has deleted the images he sent to Banks and has also unfollowed her on social media. Meanwhile, Banks has not yet revealed if she plans to pursue legal action against the wrestler.
