When you come from another planet, expectations rise. Blame it on that flying man in red-and-blue. And while you're at it, blame Metro Man, too.

Both Megamind and Metro Man are aliens who made Metro City their home. One landed up with good parents while the other got dropped at a jail for the criminally gifted.

For years, Metro Man thwarts Megamind and sees that all his devious schemes come to nought, until the diabolical villain exploits the hero's weakness to copper and kills him with a death ray gun.

End of story? Not quite. In fact, it's just the beginning.
