Sam Worthington as Jake Sully
Worthington plays the protagonist Jake Sully, a human in the Avatar program who realises the damage humans are causing to Pandora. He falls in love with Neytiri and assimilates into Na’vi society.
Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri
Zoe features as the female protagonist Neytiri, who falls in love with Jake and begins a family with him, which is later torn apart in the second film, The Way of Water (2022).
CCH Pounder as Mo’at
CCH Pounder has been a part of the Avatar franchise since the very beginning. She plays Mo’at, one of Na’vi elders and Neytiri’s mother.
Stephen Lang as Col. Miles Quaritch
Stephen Lang has been Avatar’s main antagonist since the first film. His character Col. Miles Quaritch wants to kill off the Na’vi to harvest resources from Pandora and turn it into a permanent home for humans.
Oona Chaplin as Varang
Oona Chaplin comes on board the cast in Fire and Ash to portray Varang, leader of the volcano-dwelling Mangkwan clan, the antagonist in the film.
Kate Winslet as Ronal
Kate Winslet plays the character Ronal, who is a diver with the seafaring Metkayina clan. She came on board in the second part, The Way of Water, and reprises her role in Fire and Ash.
Cliff Curtis as Tonowari
Cliff Curtis plays Tonowari, the powerful leader of the Metkayina reef clan. He is the mate of Ronal and father to Aonung and Tsireya. He made his debut in the second part and reprises his role in the latest instalment.
Bailey Bass as Tsireya
Bailey Bass, too, joined Avatar in the second film as Tsireya, a diver in the Metkayina tribe. She is the daughter of Ronal.
Sigourney Weaver as Kiri
Weaver appeared in the first Avatar film as Dr. Grace Augustine, however, in the later instalments, she has since transitioned into the role of Kiri, the daughter of Augustine’s Avatar.
Britain Dalton as Lo’ak
Britain Dalton, who appeared in The Way of Water as Lo’ak, Jake and Neytiri’s son, will reprise his role in Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Jack Champion as Spider
Played by Jack Champion, Spider is the biological son of Col. Quaritch. He was adopted by Jake and Neytiri, even though he’s human.
David Thewlis as Peylak
David Thewlis makes his debut in the third instalment as Peylak, the leader of the Wind Traders, a unique Na’vi clan with jellyfish-like giant ship-creatures.
