Minetree is relatively new to the entertainment industry, with Elle marking her first major lead role.

Born into a family of accountants, the 25-year-old American actress has followed her own beat, pursuing a career in the arts.

She has an impressive theatrical background with a double major in Theatre and Public Relations from the University of Southern California.

Alongside her acting credits, Minetree has also balanced the role of President for her student theatre company and as founder of the first-ever BA Senior Industry Showcase at USC.

She has been a part of television projects such as Law & Order: SVU, The Murdaugh Murders, Crowdsource Murder, and The Paramedic Who Stalked Me.

Minetree secured the role of Elle Woods through a competitive audition process. 

Witherspoon and her production company, Hello Sunshine, conducted an extensive search to find the ideal actress to embody the younger version of the iconic character.

The series is expected to explore Elle Woods’s high school years, shedding light on the experiences that shaped her into the confident and ambitious woman.

Minetree recalls spending time studying Witherspoon's performance by paying close attention to the way Elle speaks, moves and interacts with others. The actress has also shared details about a special morning routine she used to help herself get into character.
