The world of Toxic- A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, headlined by Rocking Star Yash, just got darker, deadlier, and infinitely more stylish. The makers have officially unveiled Akshay Oberoi as Tony and Sudev Nair as Karmadi — two striking new additions to this high-stakes action saga.

Akshay Oberoi plays Tony

Akshay’s Tony feels ripped straight out of the 1950s. With long sideburns, a vintage silhouette, and unmistakable old-world swagger, he arrives not merely as a man who has witnessed violence, but as someone who has mastered it — suave yet menacing. The newly unveiled poster showcases Akshay in a never-seen-before avatar, hinting at a deeply layered and menacing character that adds intrigue to the film’s dark world.

In the poster, Akshay Oberoi sports a retro-inspired look, standing atop piles of bodies - a powerful visual that instantly establishes the brutal, high-stakes universe of Toxic. His piercing gaze, rugged styling, and commanding posture reflect a character driven by violence, power, and moral ambiguity. The look strongly suggests grey shades rather than a conventional hero or villain, positioning Akshay as a formidable force within the narrative.

The makers recently unveiled the teaser from the upcoming film that showcases the menacing side of Yash's character. The teaser reflects on the scale of the film and the brutal violence one can expect.

About Toxic-A Fairytale for Grown-Ups

Toxic is mounted as a hard-core action film, and Akshay’s transformation signals the scale and intensity the makers are aiming for. The rawness of the poster, combined with its grim undertones, underlines the film’s unapologetically dark tone. Every detail, from the styling to the staging, amplifies the menace surrounding his character.

The vision of director Geetu Mohandas is clearly evident in the design of Akshay’s look, blending aesthetic depth with narrative intent. Backed by Yash’s larger creative vision, the poster reflects a carefully crafted world where characters are complex and morally conflicted.

The film also promises powerhouse performances from an ensemble cast featuring Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, alongside Akshay Oberoi. Toxic is gearing up to be a big-screen spectacle and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on the Gudi Padwa and Eid weekend, March 19, further raising anticipation among audiences worldwide
