The 69th National Film Awards was announced earlier today. One of the categories that was most awaited was that of the Best Actor and Actress. Many predicted actors like Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Suriya are in contention for the big honour. Allu Arjun's win for his spectacular performance in Pushpa- The Rise was welcomed with praises from well-wishers and colleagues from the industry.

But did you know he also created history with his win? Allu Arjun is the first actor to win a National Award in the Best Actor category from the Telugu film industry.
