According to close acquaintances, Rajvir's wife had frequently begged him not to go on the bike ride that resulted in the terrible disaster. In a conversation with the Daily Post Punjab, his friend told, 'She told him not to go… but he didn’t listen.'

The friend went on to say that she had specifically requested Rajvir not to ride his high-powered 1300cc motorcycle because she was concerned about its safety, but he had assured her that he would return soon. According to the family, that phone call was their last.

Actor Neeru Bajwa paid respect to late singer Rajvir Jawanda by posting a photo on Instagram with the remark, "Gone too soon." The post, however, was later removed. Actor Himanshi Khurana tweeted, "RIP friend Rajvir Jawanda".
