Following his death, his mortal remains were brought to his residence in Kandanad, Ernakulam, where family members, close friends, and colleagues gathered to pay their respects. Later, his body was kept at the Ernakulam Town Hall, allowing members of the public to offer their final tributes to the beloved artist who touched millions through his work.
