Vijay Deverakonda made his first public appearance after his reported engagement to Rashmika Mandanna, with fans spotting his engagement ring during his ashram visit

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently had a quiet and intimate engagement ceremony. The couple, who have been dating for a few years, are set to tie the knot in February 2026. While the two have not officially announced their engagement, Vijay’s team has confirmed the news. The Arjun Reddy actor recently made his first public appearance after the ceremony.
Vijay flaunts engagement ring
Vijay, along with his family, visited the Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram on October 5. He was accompanied by his parents and younger brother, Anand Deverakonda. The actor was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers at the ashram. Fans, however, were quick to notice the engagement ring on his finger in viral photos and videos.

The visit comes just days after reports surfaced that Vijay and Rashmika got engaged at the former’s Hyderabad residence on October 3.
Rashmika and Vijay’s dating history
Rashmika and Vijay have been rumoured to be dating since their first on-screen pairing in the 2018 hit Geetha Govindam, followed by Dear Comrade in 2019.
Over the years, they have often been spotted together at events and vacations. In August, the duo led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and also attended the Bharat Beyond Borders event. Fans have long speculated about their relationship, especially after noticing that both stars frequently post photos from the same holiday destinations.
In 2024, both actors admitted they were not single but refrained from naming their partners. The pair were recently spotted leaving an airport together, fuelling speculation that they are ready to go public with their relationship.
On the work front
Rashmika was last seen in Kuberaa alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna. She will next appear in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy Thamma, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, slated for a Diwali 2025 release. She also stars in Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, as well as The Girlfriend and Mysaa.
Vijay was most recently seen in Kingdom, co-starring Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
