The song Sahana Sahana from Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab was launched at an event in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The event was attended by actress Nidhhi Agerwal and director Maruti. The event attracted a massive crowd and landed the actress in an unpleasant situation. As she exited the venue, she was manhandled by the crowd, leaving her deeply shaken.

Nidhhi Agerwal gets mobbed

A video of Nidhhi getting mobbed has since gone viral online, triggering outrage as the actor appeared visibly distressed and uncomfortable. Fans hounded the actress, jostling and pushing in an attempt to get closer to her while she was making her way to the car. Multiple bystanders and attendees surrounded her, leading to a tense and challenging situation. She appeared relieved once she safely got inside the car. The video has raised concerns about celeb security.

Singer Chinmayi Sripada reacted to the incident and referred to the crowd as a group of "like-minded" men at their worst behaviour. Her X post read, "Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas. Actually, why insult hyenas. Put ‘likeminded’ men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this. Why doesn’t some God take them all away and put them on a different planet? (sic)."

Internet reacts

Several netizens also reacted to the incident. A user tweeted, "This is disturbing to watch. Celebrities deserve basic respect and personal space (sic)." Another X user wrote, “They are not fans, vultures disguised as fans (sic)." Another added, “There should be proper security arrangements in a crowd. There are plenty of people to protect her, but if a stampede breaks out, they’ll end up hurting each other."
