Anupama Parameswaran and Dhruv Vikram worked together on Mari Selvaraj's sports drama Bison Kaalamaadan.

It is believed that the two grew close while filming the movie and started dating. It was after this film that rumours of the two being in a relationship started doing the rounds.

Although the two never officially confirmed their relationship, fans found a number of clues which made it clear that they were romantically involved.

Fans spotted a shared Spotify playlist of the two titled Blue Moon, which sparked rumours. What added more fuel was the unverified photo of the playlist that seemingly showed the two sharing a kiss, which suggested an off-screen relationship.

They were also seen attending award shows together. At one such regional awards show, Anupama blushed and referred to Dhruv as her '2 AM call.' Her comment cemented the speculation that they were dating.

They were also spotted together at the airport and on other occassions, often sending fans into a frenzy with their chemistry.

Amid all the buzz, the two suddenly stopped interacting or posting about each other on social media, sparking break-up theories.

After a brief disappearance, Anupama returned to Instagram, sharing a yellow-themed joyful post accompanied by captions about letting go of "dead ends" and choosing peace. Her caption, "Sometimes, you have to let go of the dead ends to finally find your peace. And today, peace found me. From today, I choose my voice. I choose my life. No more permissions. No more fear. Just me, finding my way back to myself and falling in love with the life I almost forgot was mine. And there’s something I’ve wanted to say for a very long time…Something I wasn’t allowed to say for far too long. I love you all," got the inetrnet talking.

Now, in an interview with I AM with Dhanya Varma, Anupama made explosive statements saying, “I have gone through narcissistic abuse for two years. I can imagine a few categories of people now. First, people like me, when I first saw Madonna Sebastian talking about narcissistic abuse in a reel on Instagram, and my reaction to that was so physical that I started shivering. The first category who know who have suffered, the family and friends who have seen someone suffer. The second category who have no idea about it. They must have heard the term but they did not have to research about it, and the third one who would called it gender-based, and post negative comments based on assumptions. The next category is to who I want to talk to, those who have been there and haven't identified it yet. That is the most dangerous category.”

Although neither Anupama nor Dhruv ever confirmed their relationship, the actress's recent activities have convinced fans that she is referring to her relationship with Dhruv.
