Raj Nidimoru is an Indian-American filmmaker, screenwriter and producer known for blending genres and crafting sharp, character-driven stories.
He forms one half of the popular creative duo Raj & DK, alongside Krishna D.K. The team is best known for creating hit titles like The Family Man, Farzi, Shor in the City, and Citadel among others.
He has also served as a writer in many films. One of his prominent works include Stree, starring Shraddha Kapoor which spawned a universe. While they were working on Go Goa Gone, Stree director Amar Kaushik assisted Raj and DK.
Raj & DK worked on the short Shaadi.com (2002) before working on the English-language feature film Flavors (2003) about Indian immigrants.
Their first Hindi feature film, 99, was an original crime-comic-thriller-historical-fiction set in Mumbai and Delhi.
