Nidhhi Agerwal was born into a Hindi-speaking Marwari family. She can understand as well as speak Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
Her schooling was at Vidyashilp Academy and Vidya Niketan School. She holds a graduation in Business Management from Christ University, Bengaluru.
While the actress has always been in awe of acting, she is also a well-trained dancer. She is trained in ballet, Kathak, and belly dance.
Nidhhi Agerwal was a finalist in the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2014 beauty pageant, which served as a stepping stone to her successful career in Indian cinema.
To make her way in the industry, she started as a model. She once shared, “The only way I could think of was getting into modelling, and since people always told me I should try my hand at it, I decided to give it a shot.”
In 2016, director Sabbir Khan confirmed that Agerwal was signed as the lead in his film Munna Michael, alongside Tiger Shroff. She was chosen from among 300 candidates.
Agerwal made her Telugu debut with Savyasachi (2018), which starred Naga Chaitanya. She received SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu nominations after this movie.
In 2019, her film iSmart Shankar, alongside Ram Pothineni, was a commercial success, running for more than 100 days at the box office.
She has appeared in two music videos, Unglich Ring Daal De, sung by Jyotica Tangri, and AAHO! Mittran Di Yes Hai with Badshah. In 2021, she made her Tamil debut opposite Silambarasan in Eeswaran. She was last seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Actress Nidhhi Agerwal was questioned by the Hyderabad Crime Investigation Department (CID) in November 2025 for allegedly promoting illegal online betting apps.
She was probed alongside prominent names like Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda, Manchu Lakshmi, and others.
