Actor Suriya Sivakumar won the National Award for Best Actor at the 68th National Film Awards in Delhi. The actor won the award for `Soorarai Pottru`. Ajay Devgn and Suriya shared Best Actor awards for `Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior` and `Soorarai Pottru` respectively. `Soorarai Pottru` also won the awards for Best Screenplay, Best Background Score and Best Feature Film.
