Govinda replaced Karan Johar in an episode of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9' as the latter was busy with his Dream Tour and hence had to skip an episode. Sources claim that Govinda was in a rather preachy avatar during the entire episode and was impressed with everyone's performance.

However, it was Shantanu Maheshwari's performance that pulled Govinda on the stage. The duo danced on Govinda's iconic number, Sarkailo Khatiya from the 1994 film 'Raja Babu'.
Apparently the 'D3' actor is already a hit among the judges and with his performance on Govinda's own song, the actor was quite impressed with Shantanu.
A source shares, "Shantanu and Alisha replicated Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's costume for the performance."
