But he was turned down as he is a known face. Aman&#39;s dream of wooing Mallika had to be quashed.&rdquo; However sources close to Aman have a different story. They maintain, &ldquo;It was the channel that approached Aman. He is part of a crime-based show for the same channel. The channel wanted him to initially go as a contestant but later be Mallika&rsquo;s friend on the show.&rdquo; The source adds, &ldquo;They wanted to introduce him through a bungee jumping sequence for which he will be shown as developing cold feet. Aman felt this was going against his image that he was scared of bungee jumping as he played a tough cop in his show.
