Tanya got emotional on Bigg Boss 19 as she clarified her bond with Amaal, insisting it was built on honesty and not strategy. She also confronted Amaal over a joke that hurt her and expressed frustration at housemates twisting their friendship
Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik
The latest episode of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 saw an emotional moment unfold when Tanya opened up to Neelam about her friendship with Amaal, clarifying the growing misunderstandings around their bond. Tanya spoke about confronting Amaal while sharing that her bond with him was always genuine and came from an honest place.
Tanya opens up on her bond with Amaal
Tanya shared that she had confronted Amaal the previous night about a joke he made that didn’t sit right with her. “I told him clearly that I didn’t like the way he joked with me last night,” Tanya said, asking Neelam, “Did you feel it was a joke? No, right?”
Neelam agreed with her and replied, “If that was a joke, then how will the fight be?”
Tanya went on to express her disappointment over how people in the house were twisting her friendship with Amaal. She said everyone had started creating a narrative that she made the friendship only to gain attention or be seen more on screen — something she strongly denied.
Emotionally defending her bond, Tanya said, “I didn’t even know he’s such a big composer. I have genuinely cared for him since day one. I made a fresh, honest friendship with him — dikhane ke liye dosti nahi ki hai.”
It was a heartfelt conversation where Tanya seemed determined to make it clear that her connection with Amaal comes from sincerity, not strategy.
Tanya on losing patience with Shehbaaz
It seems like cracks are beginning to show in the friendly equation between Tanya and Shehbaz. In a candid conversation with Neelam, Tanya opened up about what’s been bothering her about Shehbaz’s attitude inside the house.
Tanya revealed that she finds Shehbaz too dependent — both in life and in the game. She shared that earlier, Shehbaz had told her how he earns his money, saying that a friend usually goes out to get work assignments and that he takes a small percentage by working with him. Tanya, who calls herself a self-made entrepreneur, admitted that this didn’t sit right with her.
She went on to explain that the same pattern reflects in his behaviour inside the house. According to Tanya, Shehbaz relies heavily on Amaal’s support in the game and even believes that Sidharth Shukla’s fans will help save him from eviction.
Tanya feels that while Shehbaz has a strong personality, it isn’t showing up in the way he’s playing. She believes he’s holding himself back and playing too safe. “During any conflict, he never comes forward or takes a clear stance. He prefers to discuss his opinions in private rather than speak up when it matters,” she told Neelam.
From what it looks like, Tanya’s frustration isn’t personal — she seems to want Shehbaaz to be more assertive and take charge of his own game. But whether this conversation will affect their bond or motivate Shehbaaz to play stronger remains to be seen.
